I am delighted to welcome you to the website of the St. Patrick’s Society of Singapore.

The St. Patrick’s Society of Singapore stands at the very forefront of the wonderful group of organisations that contribute to the rich and historic relationship between Ireland and this remarkable City-State. Indeed, as that relationship has developed and deepened over the years the St. Patrick’s Society has played an increasingly important role in welcoming the new - as well as in cherishing the established - members of the Singapore’s Irish family – as well as the extended family of the friends of Ireland from across this remarkable harmonious society.

The Society has an impressive range of exciting activities and exceptional events which embrace all its members – the young and young at heart – singles and partners – families and simply friends. Those who enjoy meeting and mixing will find a unique spirit of fun – enjoying great music – easy accents – engaging personalities - even a bit of poetry – and for ever lots of craic and memorable moments – within the “St. Pat’s.” In the inclusive tradition of the Irish membership is open to all – all you have to be is open to friendship and be willing to share in the inspiring enthusiasm and great good humour that are the essential hallmarks of all within the Saint Patrick’s Society.

I am also welcoming you to a Society which has an exceptional reputation for reaching out its supportive hands to those in need – including to many important charities locally and across South East Asia – with initiatives and contributions that reflect the spirit of caring and compassion that are fundamental to the legacy of Ireland’s National Patron – whose name it cherishes –and who first walked among the Irish nearly 1600 years ago.
