St. Patrick's Society is the Social Connection for the Irish Community in Singapore. Our aim is to bring the Irish Community together for social gatherings and to celebrate Irish Culture. These are wide ranging from The Children's Christmas Party to the highlight of our social calendar the Annual St. Patrick's Day Ball.
We organise monthly coffee mornings which is a great way to meet new friends catch up with old ones and share valuable information about living in Singapore. We also organize a wide range of events and take part in various other Irish Community Events such as the Annual St. Patrick's Day Parade to name but a few. Our annual Cultural Evening in June is a hugely popular event and we are constantly blown away by the hidden talent we find among our members.
The St. Patrick's Committee are a dedicated bunch of volunteers from within the Irish Community. We are very proud to have the Irish Ambassador to Singapore Joe Hayes as our Patron. At the Ambassadors request we also manage the "Irish Welfare Fund" in conjunction with the other Irish Societies. The Welfare Fund was set up to aid Irish National's who are passing through Singapore who find themselves in unexpected situations.
You don't have to be Irish to join the St. Patrick's Society just have an interest in Ireland and our culture and you will find a very warm Irish Welcome waiting for you.
